CRITERIA CHAMPION
FOR PERFORMANCE EXCELLENCE
About the Workshop
The Vermont Council for Quality's Criteria Champion course is a 3-day program on the advanced concepts of the Performance Excellence Criteria. This course gives participants an in-depth understanding of the Core Values, Organizational Profile, and the seven Criteria Categories, including the key linkages between them. The program uses the Malcolm Baldrige Criteria as the primary framework. The course will include lecture, group discussion, and exercises.
In this course you will:
- Gain an in-depth knowledge of the Core Values
- Complete an Organizational Profile of your organization
- Study and apply the Criteria with its linkages using your own organization as a case study
- Acquire an overview of the Scoring Guidelines
- Identify strengths and opportunities for improvement for your organization
- Learn practical applications of the Performance Excellence Criteria with local and national organizations
Completion of an Introduction to Performance Excellence workshop or equivalent is highly recommended.

Instructor
Anne Warner has over 15 years experience driving organizational improvement. Anne is a member of the 2003, 2004, and 2005 MBNQA Board of Examiners, serves on the Granite State Quality Council Board of Directors and has served as a Judge and Senior Examiner for the Massachusetts and California state award programs.

Manufacturers and Hospital Staff Fee:...$285.00 per person
Scholarships
Vermont manufacturers and hospital staff members are eligible for a grant through a VCQ partnership with the Vermont Training Program of the Department of Economic Development. Call VCQ for details.
Cancellation Policy
Registration fees must be paid on or before the workshop date. Fees cover all course materials, continental breakfast and lunch. Registration fees will be credited for cancellations made 10 business days prior to the workshop. Within 10 business days of the workshop, only substitutions will be accepted. No-shows will be charged the full registration fee. Classes may be cancelled if there are less than 6 people. If this does occur, you will be contacted one week prior to the class to reschedule.
