  Green Environmental Management System

Resources:
The Vermont Council for Quality is pleased to announce the development of a new product line. Our new program "Green Environmental Management System" includes an organizational self-assessment and education and training. The assessment measures your green management performance in several areas of your organization. We all know that becoming more environmentally sustainable is not only good for the environment, but also good for business. Having “green” management strategies and measures in place is a key business practice. Our Green Organizational Management Assessment and Feedback Report enables organizations that are committed to environmental stewardship to measure their effectiveness of key green business practices and identifies those vital few areas that need most improvement.

The Vermont Council for Quality Green Environmental Management System is a voluntary program that annually recognizes and rewards organizations that have developed high performing environmental management systems to address legal requirements related to health, safety and environment resulting in measureable outcomes that drive continuous improvement in Vermont’s environment, economy and quality of life.
