The Vermont Program for Performance Excellence award process is carried out by a volunteer Board of Examiners. These experts have completed an extensive training program and are annually certified to serve on the VT & NH Board of Examiners. Applicants who apply for the Award process by submitting an Organizational Profile and a 50-page description of how their organization addresses the Criteria for Performance Excellence will receive feedback on their organizational strengths and opportunities for improvement through an examiner team. New VCQ Recognition and Award Level |

Organizational Profile - Commitment Level
The Vermont Council for Quality is adding a new Recognition and and Award Level to support organizations to complete an Organizational Profile. The Organizational Profile sets the context for the way your organization operates. Your environment, key working relationships, and strategic challenges and advantages serve as an overarching guide for your organizational performance management system.
The importance of beginning with your Organizational Profile:
- It is the starting point for self-assessment and for writing an application.
- It helps identify potential gaps in key information and focus on key performance requirements and results.
- It is used by examiners in the application review process to help understand your organization and what you consider important.
- It is also used as an initial self-assessment tool to help identify areas that may need to be addressed in action planning.
Trained Vermont Performance Excellence Examiners will review your Organizational Profile for the purpose of providing feedback on your responses to the questions, identify any unclear areas, and possibly suggest improvement opportunities.
More information will be available after the new year with additional support in our Raising the Bar and Criteria Champion workshops to begin completing your Organizational Profile. | |
