    This 2 day learning workshop will provide a deep understanding of key Toyota principles. The workshop will be presented by David Meier, co-author of Toyota Talent and The Toyota Way Fieldbook, and Mike Hoseus, co-author of the new book Toyota Culture along with Tracey Richardson who is a twenty-year veteran of Toyota and currently trains Toyota leaders in the TBP (Toyota Business Practice) process.

    The Journey to Performance Excellence on December 8th will feature a keynote presentation from Poudre Valley Health System - a 2008 Baldrige National Quality Award Recipient. George Hayes, CEO and President of Medical Center of the Rockies (PVHS' affiliate hospital) will present on Poudre Valley Health System's Baldrige Journey to Performance Excellence.

    Other highlights of the conference will feature Vermont leaders as they share their best practices and lessons learned on their Baldrige journey. Additional presentations will include quality professionals highlighting resources available to help you improve your performance.

    IBM will share how their organization approaches and deploys process management through strategy, problem solving, and standard work process improvement methodologies. You will see how their efforts focus on improving stability of the manufacturing process, with the goals of reduced variability, faster response, and lower costs.

    Jeff will demonstrate IBM's implementation of the Training Within Industry programs and how to integrate hands-on improvement programs with a focus on problem solving for complex process problems and development challenges. You will see how this work focuses on the Job Instruction program for reducing human variability in all parts of the development and manufacturing process.
