2006 Baldrige Regional Conference

- Sunny Fresh Foods, Inc. - manufacturer of value-added egg-based food products primarily for the food service industry
- DynMcDermott Petroleum Operations Company - sole management and operations contractor for the Department of Energy’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve
- Park Place Lexus - sells new vehicles and pre-owned luxury vehicles, services vehicles, and sells Lexus parts to the wholesale and retail markets
- Operations Management International, Inc. - runs more than 170 wastewater and drinking water treatment facilities in 29 states and eight other nations
Education Sector:
- Jenks Public Schools - public school district in Tulsa, OK that includes both suburban and urban populations
- Richland College - provider of credit and continuing education courses to more than 20,000 students each semester ranging from adolescents to senior citizens
- Pearl River School District - provides education for 2,500 children, kindergarten through 12th grade; more than 1,000 adults participate in the district's continuing education program

Quality Assurance Manager
Gallagher, Flynn & Company's client, a rapidly growing manufacturer in Vergennes, VT is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager. At the present time their client specializes in the design, manufacture and service of electronically controlled medical and surgical equipment, and is expanding to other fields as well. This person will have responsibility for improving the quality and productivity of the manufacturing process while ensuring compliance with ISO 9000 standards and FDA regulations. The position will supervise 5 people directly, but will influence and interact with everyone in the plant, and he or she will be part of the senior management team. The ideal candidate will have an engineering background, with quality and other management experience in a manufacturing setting. ISO experience, including creating, writing and revising ISO procedures that are understood by staff at all levels, is required. This person will have knowledge of FDA regulations and lean manufacturing theory and techniques, along with experience in a rapid growth environment. Superior communication and problem-solving skills are most important, along with a demonstrated ability to get things done quickly in an easy-going way, creating a sense of teamwork and collective striving for success.
