Why VCQ?
The need to improve organizational performance has perhaps never been greater. The difficult economy has created a renewed need for improvement and systematic change within all organizations: customers are more demanding, employees are overextended, and competition has never been fiercer. Many Vermont individuals and organizations are turning to VCQ to give them a starting point, compass, and a sustained focus to improve over time-and VCQ is meeting that challenge!
By learning and implementing the Vermont Criteria for Performance Excellence, your organization will be on its way to becoming more successful, efficient, and high performing. With so many different improvement methods out there, it's hard to find the right one that meets all your needs. Here are some things that sets the Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence apart from the rest:
- The Criteria focus on RESULTS
- The Criteria provides a framework for improvement that is non-prescriptive & adaptable
- The Criteria supports a system perspective to maintaining organization-wide goal alignment
