12th Annual Recognition and
Award Ceremony

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the our 12th Annual Recognition and Awards Ceremony at Lake Morey Resort this year.
Congratulations to our award recipients: Rutland Regional Medical Center received the 2009 Governor's Award for Performance Excellence and Vermont Adult Learning and the VA Medical Center were recognized at the Commitment level.
We were delighted to have Terry Holliday, Ph.D., Commissioner, Department of Education in Kentucky as our keynote presenter. Dr. Holliday was the previous Superintendent of Iredell-Statesville Schools in North Carolina when they received the 2008 Baldrige National Quality Award. Dr. Holliday's presentation was exceptional and left participants feeling re-energized.
Other highlights of the Recognition and Awards Ceremony included a Spotlight on Quality. Leaders from Vermont organizations shared their best practices and lessons learned.
The event also featured a World Cafe with conversation questions on the Baldrige Core Values, giving participants an active role in the conference to network and learn from one another.
